The title of the radio drama refers to T. Pynchons book “V”. Stencil pursues in his
obsessiv search for V. strange Notes and lets them be part of his fantasy. The
various metamorphoses of V. are traced in historical chapters, but are only in Stencils
private fantasies. “Herbert Stencil disguised as Orpheus in the Underworld (for V.)”
could be a possible episode of the book.
